Lori leads IT security, controls, SOX compliance, and internal audit engagements.
Her experience includes SOX 404 compliance for IT and application controls, ERP controls and security (SAP, Oracle, JDE), SOC 1 reviews, business process reengineering, and pre- and post-implementation security and controls reviews.
She partners with executive and IT management to understand IT control requirements, assess technology-related risks, respond to auditor inquiries, and address control and governance challenges, helping organizations make informed decisions regarding existing and new technologies while navigating an evolving risk landscape, including emerging areas such as the use of AI.
Before Cooper-Richards she worked at a Big 4 firm managing multiple engagements focused on information technology controls and internal audit.
Lori received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
